One would have thought that Renault would wait for the Paris Motor Show in October to present the one that will replace the Koleos. But if we are to believe our colleagues, which recently saw the vehicle covered with camouflage, it is very likely that this new SUV of the diamond brand is unveiled shortly at the Beijing Motor Show (Beijing Motor Show). For even if this vehicle seven places based cousin Nissan X-Trail should find its audience at home, his priority seems to be rather Asia and especially China. For this market, the vehicle will also assemble locally, while “our” version could be produced in South Korea (and distributed under the Samsung brand in this country) as was the Koleos.
Regarding the name of this new model, the total remains fuzzy. The chances that he takes the Koleos surname seem rather low while our colleagues Motor1 evoke the name Maxthon. Regarding style, this new SUV is expected to differentiate the Qajar strongly and get closer to the top models of the brand as Space and Talisman. The front acquires a rectilinear grille indeed, but the C-shaped daytime running lights seem more apparent as was the case on previous pictures spy. The image below, which shows the new SUV follow a Qajar, let’s clearly see the differences between the two. The vehicle appears massive and quite likely it more imposing than the Nissan X-Trail (4.64 m long).
If this Renault SUV is indeed presented in Beijing, we should quickly learn more about it since the Chinese lounge will open on 25 April.
